Creative Wellbeing Sessions
The Art and Wellbeing programme at the Arts Hub provides opportunities for those that would otherwise not be able to access and enjoy arts and heritage services to take part in creative and therapeutic workshops. Our philosophy embodies the notion that art has the power to make you feel good – which is why we are passionate about providing art for everyone.
Our Arts for Health and Wellbeing classes are designed to help you overcome anxiety through developing art skills in a relaxed, non-threatening, and friendly space.
These classes are open to anyone who is interested in art and how it can be used as a tool for wellbeing and relaxation.
It doesn’t matter how creative you think you are, whether a complete beginner or competent artist, the aim of the session is to contribute to wellbeing through the action of art, rather than looking at your artistic ability. Come as you are and be confident!
All materials will be supplied, but you are also welcome to bring your own sketchbook or materials etc. to help make your artwork more personal.
All workshops need to be booked in advance. Please view our Events section for times and dates.
