In March 2022, Creative Innovation Centre CIC, took over the lease of all remaining offices and meeting room at Flook House. And through partnerships and local connections are pleased to announce that all are now filled with art organisations and practitioners.
We would also like to thank Somerset West & Taunton Council for their support and especially Cllr Caroline Ellis who has been an advocate for the repurpose of Flook House and the arts.
A grant of £10,000 was given to help kick start the Arts Hub but £7500 of that fund is to pay the council for the meting room annual rent. The final £2500 was used to install cabling and broadband facilities as well as the redecoration on the meting room.
There is still much to do but already activities have taken place with young and old participating in many art activities.
